TICKETS! TICKETS! TICKETS!

Hi all -

So we realize that everyone's e-mail inboxes are inundated with messages - some from school, others your friends, sale reminders, etc.  And we appreciate that maybe, just maybe, you deleted the original e-mailed invitation we sent to you for the Spring Fiesta.  For those of you who keep your hundreds of e-mails, the invite could still be there.  Just look for an e-mail from the address resurrectionspringfiesta@gmail.com.  It is a paperless post invite, that will show you not only the actual event invite but as well has the link to the eventbrite site where you can buy your tickets.

If however, that e-mail is gone, I can either send you another e-mail, so you can see the actual invite, or you can simply click on the following link which will take you directly to the eventbrite site for our Fiesta and you can purchase tickets directly:

Thanks so much!

Heads or Tails - Fiesta Style!!!

Fiesta Fever Continues:

This Thursday, your little niños and niñas will be enjoying some fiesta fun during their Twin Tacos lunch hours. To continue the excitement for the upcoming Spring Auction event, the children will participate in a fiesta-themed Heads or Tails game in both the lower and middle schools.

We will play heads or tails during each lunch session, and the winners will receive a colorful sombrero. Ole!  The kids loved the heads or tails games during Catholic Schools week, and we’re excited to continue some momentum leading up to this year’s auction event.

But parents do not feel left out, as you too can have some Heads or Tails fun at the Spring Fiesta on April 20th, where you will be picking "Heads" or "Tails" in hopes of winning a weekend at the amazing Ocean House Resort & Spa in nearby Watch Hill, RI.  So start working out the odds of the coin flip, so that you can insure that you are the last one standing when that they make the final call!

FIESTA ROVING REPORTER

Our very own Fiesta Roving Reporter asked a few RES moms and dads about their thoughts on the Annual Spring Auction. Here’s what a few had to share:

"This will be our 12th year (only 7 more to go).  We have so many great memories of this outstanding event.  It never fails to deliver, but what I like best is that each year we see some new RES families step up and join the action as donors and bidders in the live auction." -- Phil Semprevivo, RES dad of Maggie, Molly, Annie, Lilly, Michael and former student Peter

“The auction is a terrific party, but it is much more than that too – it really is a celebration of the Resurrection community. To see so many parents, teachers and priests having fun and being passionate about supporting the school reaffirms why we chose Resurrection school for our children. It definitely is a “can’t miss” night!” – Christine Ford, RES mom of Lizzie and Maddie

“This event is a great opportunity to spend time not only with friends, but also teachers and administrators. I’ve had great conversations and spent time with Mr. Nielsen, teachers and staff.  It’s a fantastic event my husband and I always look forward to.” -- Christina Condron, RES mom of Christopher, Jack, Lucy and Rex

“The auction is a great night and a chance to give back to our school and have fun with friends!” -- Kris McCooey, RES mom of Matthew and Tommy, and former students Bobby, Christopher, Elizabeth & Matthew

“This will be our 13th auction and we would not miss it!  It is a night full of fabulous food, friends and of our course our wonderful faculty, staff and clergy.  It is a fun way to show your support for our children, school and community.” -- Katy Pagnani, mother of Kyle, Kristy, Keith and Kiernan

“I love coming to the event and checking out all the fun auction items! I always head straight for the parties and spa events! It's also fun to see the men, a little ill at ease at first, begin to lighten up and enjoy the evening!” -- Whitney Schwarz, RES mom of Van, Allie, Madeline & Sabrina

“It is such a fun night for the Res community to see everyone dressed up and to have an opportunity to engage in longer conversations than the two minute ones we have time for in the parking lot!” -- Beth McGrath, RES mom of Bridget, Grace and Aidan

“I love seeing everyone out of their school mode and ready to have a great time and support Resurrection.” -- May Burke, RES mom of Peter, Tommy and Vincent

“This will be our 11th Resurrection Auction!!  My husband and I love this night.  The committee always does such a wonderful job to make it one to remember.  Over the years we have met so many nice families and it is a perfect time to catch up with all the other parents and faculty”. -- Nicole Steinthal, RES mom of TJ, Daisey and Peyton
